HUBSPOT: THINGS YOU ARE PROBABLY PAYING FOR

Most Marketing Hub seats include far more than the team uses. Pick the jobs you own this quarter, mark what you already use, and leave with three things to try this week without waiting on an admin ticket.

How it works

  1. Tick the jobs that sit with you or your team this quarter.
  2. Mark your Marketing Hub tier if you know it. Not sure still works.
  3. Go through the menu and mark each capability: using it, heard of it, or not using it.
  4. Read the three actions at the bottom, do one of them this week, then come back and re-mark.

Jobs you own this quarter

Anything unticked stays out of the menu.

Marketing Hub tier, if you know it

This adds a note where a capability needs a higher tier. Nothing is hidden and nothing is sold.

Nothing you enter here leaves your browser. Close the page and it is gone.

Your HubSpot capability menu will appear here.

Pick one action, do it in the portal this week, then come back and re-mark the rows. If the gaps turn out to sit across tools rather than inside HubSpot, the MarTech stack audit is the wider inventory.

An orientation aid, not HubSpot, legal or procurement advice. Product names and tier packaging change. Confirm availability in your own portal and with your account manager. Nothing you enter is sent anywhere or stored.

Why the shelf fills up

Nobody sets out to underuse a platform. The portal gets bought for two jobs, the person who ran the implementation leaves, and everything outside those two jobs stays theoretical. A year later the renewal arrives and the conversation is about price rather than about the six things nobody has opened. This menu is organised by the jobs marketers actually run, because that is how you find the gap: not by reading a feature list, but by asking what you do every month and whether the portal already does it.

This is not a portal audit

It does not connect to HubSpot, check your permissions or read your billing. You self-report, which means the marking is only as honest as you are. If the answer to most rows is heard of, that is the finding, and it is a better renewal conversation than a discount request. Where the gaps turn out to sit across several tools rather than inside one, the stack audit is the wider job.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Is this a HubSpot admin audit?

No. It is a marketer-facing capability menu. It does not check your portal, your permissions or your billing, and it will not tell you what you are being charged for.

Does it connect to my HubSpot account?

No. Nothing connects. You mark each row yourself and everything stays in the browser.

Will it tell me to upgrade?

It will note where a capability usually needs Professional or Enterprise. It does not sell upgrades and it does not invent a return on one.

How is this different from the MarTech stack audit?

The stack audit inventories tools across the whole stack and asks who owns each one. This page stays inside HubSpot and is organised by the jobs marketers run.
